My Favorite Christmas Movies

Okay, I know we haven't even made it to Thanksgiving yet, but as soon as the Friday after Thanksgiving hits, I'm going to be starting my Christmas movie extravaganza!!!

Christmas is my favorite time of the year next to the entire Spring season!

I love the lights, the decorations, the traditions, the songs... I love it all!

And I thought, why not share my favorite holiday movies?

So here they are in no particular order!

1. Serendipity

Yes, it's a Christmas movie.

Typically, I'm an action/thriller type of movie watcher. I've never been a huge romance movie lover. However, there are a few I curl up with a blanket, hot cocoa, and totally gush over.

This movie is so sweet and funny, and I will admit I still get goosebumps every time Johnathan and his BFF, Dean, realize that fate handed the book to Johnathan, (the one Sarah wrote in), through his fiance' as a wedding present.

I watch this movie every single year!

2. The Santa Clause 1, 2, and 3

Tim Allen has always been one of my favorite actors. I grew watching "Home improvement" and occasionally will watch "Last Man Standing". And I love "Christmas With The Kranks", even though it's not a big favorite of mine. I watch it multiple times during the holidays. Pretty much anything Tim Allen has played in, I've enjoyed watching.

The Santa Clause movies are hilarious, imaginative, and romantic. I especially love the third one with Martin Short. He is another all-time favorite actor of mine!

3. Elf

Oh my goodness, my entire family loves "Elf"!!! We laugh every year as if it's our first time seeing it!

It's hard to pick just one favorite part of this movie, but there is one that stands out. When Buddy is finding his way around New York, he walks into a department store. The lady at the perfume counter offers him "fruit spray" to try on. When he sprays it in his mouth thinking it will be sweet and instead ends up being perfume, his reaction gets me every time!

Will Ferrell just does a great job!

4. The Grinch

I've never been a huge fan of the old cartoon, but Jim Carrey really makes this movie! To me, he was the perfect pick to play the part and every year, this movie never gets old.

5. Borrowed Hearts

Oh, my! How I love this movie! It's so sweet, heartfelt, and romantic! My family always looks forward to this movie every year! If you haven't seen it, and you love a good Christmas romance, this one is great!

6. Miracle On 34th Street

I love this classic for Christmas! The 1947 one is the best in my opinion, and I love both the black and white version and the color. The story is so sweet, and it definitely is a cherished tradition for me.

There you go! That's a few of my favorite Christmas movies! How about you? What are your favorites? Leave a comment below!

Also, let's connect on Facebook or Instagram! I would love to hear from you!

As always, I send you love and hugs from my heart to yours!

Love,

Charity
